figs

A dessert or an appetizer? Either, I suppose. These delicious looking morsels were made by my mother-in-law, who is a phenomenal cook. I have no doubt where Mike learned his culinary skills. But this is one even a novice in the kitchen can whip out.

Rinse clean fresh figs and slice in half.
Add a dollop of fresh goat cheese.
Place an almond on top.
Drizzle with a "dressing" made from half honey and half balsamic vinegar.
Done.
