link round-up

i just wanted to thank you all for your kind comments yesterday (and always)! it is so reassuring to be reminded we parents all struggle through similar issues along the way. one of the things i need to do as a mamma (besides my mantra) is to try to remember the positive. with this in mind, i will make sure my next post about my beautiful girl is one that highlights what a special, nurturing, sweet, loving person she is most of the time.

• a small tribe. marina has the loveliest blog, something i just learned. i met marina when she replied to my post on a local listserv several months ago. i was searching for a climbing structure/slide for finn, she had one, gave it to me, our kids all played beautifully together when i picked it up, we lost touch, then rediscovered each other when we realized my dear friend liz's daughter (miss julia the super hero) goes to school with her oldest. as liz said, marina and i have so much in common that we must be kindred spirits.
