a happy birthday shout out to genevieve!
- mike and i have finally been getting/making hobby time! one of his is a 1967 cougar. and he has updated his blog!
- retro mama has a tutorial on how to make fabric eggs. cute!
- everything's amazing, nobody's happy
- oh, yum...a recipe to try. baked doughnuts.
- a pile of kindergarten books from the library netted this favorite
- kitchen reusables! we have had a mesh, washable coffee filter for years (same one, worth every penny), but it hadn't occurred to me that i could buy reusable produce bags for buying lettuce (still reusing plastic produce bags) or buy a non-stick oven liner instead of using foil! i can make the bags (as well as fabric snack bags for crackers, carrots, and such!) but i think an oven liner might be worth the new purchase.
- make your own strappy tank top. i came across this while desperately looking for free online patterns for a cute summery dress for lala.
- speaking of cute girl dress, check out material mama's free dress pattern.
- or freshly picked's pillowcase dress tutorial
- there is a whole site on how to make baby stuff! i found toy patterns, diaper patterns, a dress pattern, and more, that i want to try!
- upcycle (fancy word for recycle!) a wool sweater into any number of new creations
